Filley Fest is a one-day community cultural festival
designed to celebrate 19th century agricultural life in Bloomfield and the on-going restoration of the 1834 Captain Oliver Filley House. Learn more about 19th century life while experiencing hands-on spinning, riding in a horse-drawn carriage, playing 19th century children's games and more. Watch and learn while traditional crafts are demonstrated.
This day is an opportunity for the community to come together and support one another as we transform the Filley House into a library, museum, cultural and educational center and the nucleus of the Wintonbury
Historical Society.
Bring a picnic, a beverage, and your chair and enjoy the day with the Wintonbury Historical Society at the Captain Oliver Filley House located at 130 Mountain Avenue, Bloomfield.
