Event Details
The town of Bloomfield encompasses more than 26 square miles and boasts around a hundred structures and sites of historic interest that date prior to 1900. In this presentation, we will look at examples of primarily domestic architecture in the Wintonbury Parish, with a focus on 18th and 19th century structures up until the Civil War. It is the hope of this program to provide a bit of insight into our town’s past and to enhance our awareness of the relevance of our past to our present and future.
This program will be presented by Ron Marchetti, who serves on the Board of Directors of the Wintonbury Historical Society and Ironwood Community Partners, and had a 43-year career as a secondary school educator and administrator.
This program is presented in partnership with the Wintonbury Historical Society, and may be recorded and shared with the library’s social media channels and community partners. Be aware if you turn on your video and/or speak during the program, you may be recorded.
You must provide your email address at registration to receive the Zoom link. Your Registration Confirmation Notice includes the Zoom link for the program.
